Looks pretty, no? Well, it is...except for that looming shadow in the upper right hand corner. I'm down in sunny Sarasota, Florida for a couple of days at its film festival. Sunday morning I will be moderating an "In Conversation With..." session with actor Edward Norton and screenwriter Brian Koppelman. Both are fellows I've known for a long time. So I have no idea what I'm going to ask them. Well, that's only half true but STILL...
If my faithful, generous and well-informed commenters have any questions for either/or, said commenters should please leave them below. If I ask the questions, I'll give you credit. No, really.
In the meantime, I have to admit things are not getting to the greatest of starts here. No fault of my lovely hosts, I hasten to add. It's just that my right ear still hasn't popped almost three hours after landing, which compels me to act like a half-deaf crazy man rather than a crazy man with a sense of hearing entire (there is a diiference...); for reasons still obscure to me I cannot get my digital camera to work with my laptop (the "waiting for device" window is, if anything, more heinous than the revolving rainbow of doom so dreaded by my fellow Mac-ites; the photos here were taken by the laptop itself); and there is a large amusement park directly across from my dwellings (okay, that's not true, but fans of Pale Fire now know just how distracted the first two described conditions have rendered me). I am hoping the sun, and a properly placed blow to my head, might improve the situation. In the meantime, send those questions!
Oh, and as for that looming shadow:

If your ear hasn't popped by he evening, you should do your best to sleep on that ear. It should be closer to popping by the morning. At least this works for me.
I guess it wouldn't be proper to ask about Red Dragon and what he thought of the final result? Or, has he Tony Kaye talked to him about appearing in his documentary about the chaos surrounding American History X?

And if my pal Gerry Peary is down there, too--he said he was heading to Florida rather than Full Frame--tell him i said hi.
Oh, and you're both missing out. It's been great this year.
